Florida Winery Events and Tastings – Save Beer for the Beach
Florida winery events and wine tastings are tons of fun. From grape stomps to live bands and ghost orb walks, there are so many events to keep you busy for the rest of the summer. Visit a winery as a group or just your significant other, either way you are going to have fun at a local Florida winery. And do you know how many wineries we have in Florida? What started out as micro-wineries and farms has turned into large wineries with events and vineyards. The wine culture and Florida wineries have evolved and grown over the last decade. I am glad to see some vintners gaining notoriety in the world of wine-making.

Bunker Hill Vineyard and Winery has a Spirit Orb Walk on September 19, 2015. Bring all your favorite paranormal investigating items for the event and dress comfortably, as the walk is over uneven terrain. The cost is a mere $10 and will begin promptly at 7:30pm. Provoking the spirits is not allowed, but buying lots of wine is. Reservations are strongly recommended and bring friends. It should be an amazing time at a Florida winery.

Live bands every Friday and Saturday night. Stop by for a night out with friends and listen to live music as you enjoy Keel & Curley wines. Try their new Strawberry Wine Freeze mix, delish, and their Pina Colada Wine mix. Keel & Curley carries a large assortment of fruit wines. One must remember that in Florida the touristy fruit wines have quite a loyal following. The same people that are wine snobs (a wine snob is one that only drinks wine from such and such a place) usually miss out on the very drinkable fruity Florida winery perfections that go down easy and lend a fun air to the wine drinking experience.
EVERY Friday and Saturday night.
4200 Johnston Road
Fort Pierce, Florida 34951
Lakeridge Winery knows how to party. Every Sunday they serve up wine with a side of fun. They usually open about noon to 1pm and have live music, wine slushies, 9 hole disc golf, corn hole, giant lawn cheese, jenga and bocce ball. They advertise that their Sunday afternoons are rain and shine. Children are allowed but must be supervised by their chaperones. Sounds like Lakeridge Winery & Vineyard offers a great way for a family to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Known as the winery that makes very interesting flavors of wine– such as Simply Key Lime, Green Apple Riesling and Tropical Storm– Murielle Winery is a fun place to taste wine. They offer FREE wine tasting most Saturdays. Come on by and say hi to the owners and their two winery pups.

Quantum Leap Winery is located in Orlando and is a ton of fun to visit. This winery claims 7 dogs and yes, they even have their own dog blog. The winery has a bunch of events and each is unique– so you must see their website to get an exact date for events. Here is a sampler: Paws A Palooza, Wine Down, and Wine Chocolate and Cheese, just to name a few. The Wine Down events are monthly– they provide live music, wine and good company.
