Having recently bought out Florida Avenue Brewery, the Brew Bus “terminal” features a dog-friendly open space with all of their beers on tap. The Brew Bus also gives tours of other Tampa breweries, so you can knock multiple breweries off your list at once!

If nothing else, you should go to Coppertail Brewery for the tour. For only $7 you get a guided tour of their expansive brewery (with both giant wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks), a beer to drink during the tour, and your very own pint glass to keep! The catch? Tours are first-come first-serve, so get there early because there is sure to be a crowd! But that’s okay, because you can enjoy Coppertail’s beers in the bar– where you still get a view of the brewing floor.

Nestled in the heart of Ybor, Tampa Bay Brewing Company is the place to go to start up a night on the town. Their beers are crafted by the company’s crack team of brewers on the west side of Tampa, and they have wines on tap. Grains are in-grained (get it?) on the tops of the tables, the atmosphere is lively, and the comprehensive menu offers plenty of food pairings at this restaurant and brewery.

Located right down the street from Busch Gardens, Yuengling’s second largest U.S. brewery offers free tours ~3 times a day, ending with a free beer sampling of what they have on tap. You need to get there early though, they close at 3pm during the week, 2pm on Saturday, and are closed on Sunday.

Southern Brewing always makes sure that there’s plenty of beer to go around. With all “beers, ciders, meads, wines, kombucha, and sodas” made in house, and a constantly rotating stock, you will always have something new to try.  You can also come by for trivia night every Wednesday or any of their other events– which makes this one of the most lively Tampa breweries.

Six Ten offers a variety of in-house brewed ales and lager, as well as a number of guest brews. Food trucks also frequent the brewery and Six ten is happy to 32 or 128 oz growlers of most of their tap beers. You can also take a tour of the brewery, bring your dog, or reserve the tasting room for private parties!

If you like the beer, we’ll keep brewing it.” Angry Chair is dedicated to breaking out of the monotony of life by creating a number of unique beers, like their German Chocolate Cupcake Stout or their signature, the Big Deborah. It’s also located in the booming area of Seminole Heights, and their website even gives suggestions of what else to do in the neighborhood.
